(If a history sequence has already been completed, an Area II elective may be substituted for one Literature course. Area II elective courses must be chosen from those listed on the Alabama Transfers approved lists: https://alabamatransfers.com.) If a sequence has not yet been completed, the Literature sequence is recommended to avoid taking an additional course. 3Any undergraduate, core level statistics course is accepted. 4Only one History course is required. If a History sequence has already been completed (i.e., World History I and II), a Literature sequence is not necessary, and an Area II elective may be substituted for the second Literature course.
