Program Description

The Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Mental Health track prepares students to work in a vast number of career fields. This CACREP accredited degree is designed to prepare graduate students for practice with diverse populations in public and private mental health and related human service settings. Graduates of this program are eligible for state licensure as Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) and national board certification (NCC). Career areas may include family counseling, addictions counseling, victimization, gerontological counseling, play therapy, testing/psychometry, the use of creative arts in counseling, corrections, and the military.
